Giovany Revelle is a first-generation singer-songwriter and producer, the son of immigrants, born in Corpus Christi but grounded in Chicago, where he has lived for over three decades. This vibrant city is where Revelle has honed his craft, becoming a seasoned musician. His debut album is a genre-blending sonic journey that defies easy categorization, combining Revelle's diverse influences, including the Motown Sound, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Big Band, and singer-songwriter styles. Some people have dubbed his music "Latin Americana," as his writing weaves between English and Spanish, ultimately reflecting a product of the Americas and all the influences he has absorbed while navigating the complexities of his identity growing up in Chicago. It sounds like a singer-songwriter was given access to a string section, horn section, and backup singers, allowing him to produce his songs with a big, expansive sound.

Looking forward, Giovany Revelle is the proud recipient of the 2024 Chicago DACSE IAP Grant, which awarded him $6,000 to record a five-song EP. This project, expected to be released in the summer of 2025, marks the next exciting chapter in Revelle’s musical journey.
