Craft Micro-Expo

Skylark is launching a craft series and we are hoping this first one will be a big hit.

Visit stations set up for various hobbies and crafts and talk to an enthusiast about how they practice their craft and what it takes to get started. Browse their materials, look at stuff they’ve made, and see other related artifacts like books and pamphlets. If you think this sounds cool, come check it out so we can work up a crowd and have a good reason to repeat it.

Come learn about stuff that will get your hands doing something other than scrolling your phone! And of course, drink beer and eat tots.

Relevant Hairstyles - Live

RELEVANT HAIRSTYLES is a music performance concept in the folk tradition. Though not concerned with "passing" per se, there's a level on which it's simply a modern vocal group in the lineage of, say, Sons of the Pioneers or The Ink Spots - yet the project is also an attempt to strip away such signifiers and get at an earlier sensibility, one in which audience and performer alike are brought into contact with forces suggesting there may in fact be life before death. Join us February 8th, 8:30pm
